She had done the research and analyzed the options.
She made a list of the pros and cons, even created a spreadsheet ranking the criteria and the variables.
But she still wasn’t clear.
She had talked with her therapist. She had gotten an astrology reading.
Perhaps she should just flip a coin.
Or call her mother.
She hemmed and hawed.
She stayed distracted and busy to avoid making the decision, and yet the question lingered.
Her frustration at not being clear tempted her to just do what she had always done;
Rather than that which she had never done.
She wished someone would just tell her what to do!
Unable to sleep, she had fretted about the question in the middle of the night.
She had tried on a decision and slept on it, but woke unclear again in the morning.
She tried some journaling, and to more clearly define the question.
She went for a walk.
She did a tarot card reading.
She could listen to her gut, but it wasn’t talking.
If only she could just do what everyone else was doing.
There didn’t appear to be any Flow to follow.
She should talk it through with a friend who could reflect back what she heard.
She knew that if she waited long enough she would no longer have the options.
She remembered what her father had taught her, “Not to decide, is to decide.”
But wait, she kept trying to figure it out in her head, but totally forgot that she could simply ask for Guidance.
Instead of figuring out the whole darn thing, she realized that she really only needed to determine the one right next step.
